SAVANNAH, GA –
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police tell WSAV News3 that David Burns, a wanted sex offender, has turned himself in. According to authorities, Burns notified an officer on routine patrol Monday morning, and turned himself in.
Burns was wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office for probation violation and for failure to property register as a convicted sex offender, officials say. Burns has been booked in the Chatham County Detention Center where he will remain without bond.
SCMP officials add, over the weekend, Andrew Monroe Brown, Mannie David Simmons and Christopher Erik Graves were also arrested.
