The Earl Smith Strand brings suspense, true love, and cult classics to the screen this fall. This season’s movie line-up features something for everyone; Sunday matinees for silent films including comedy shorts by Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, and the Little Rascals, while weekend evenings are filled with movie greats such as Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, Back to the Future and a Hitchcock movie series.
The Strand will also be showing 96 minutes, a 2011 widely released movie filmed in Marietta.

Frank Baum stories and starring Judy Garland, Dorothy and her dog Toto are caught in a tornado’s path and somehow end up in the land of Oz.
